Stefanie began working in the field as a behavior technician in 2007. She has worked with children with developmental disabilities through home ABA programs and in schools. She also consults with both children and adults in group home settings. Stefanie graduated from the Ohio State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Science and a minor in Disability Studies, and then from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2015 with a Master’s degree in Professional Behavior Analysis. She earned her BCBA in May 2016, and currently works as a Clinical Supervisor with Animate Behavior. Stefanie has been working with Animate Behavior since the onset of the company, and has contributed to the development of the growing staff. Stefanie most enjoys writing behavior plans that target the reduction of challenging behavior by teaching clients more functional, realistic methods to communicate their wants and needs. She believes that data-driven decision making along with family implemented interventions lead to meaningful, lasting change for clients.
